Ann Cunliffe is Professor of Organization Studies at Fundacao Getulio Vargas-EAESP, Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is also currently Visiting Professor at Universita Cattolica del S. Cuore in Milano, Italy, Aalborg University in Denmark, and the University of Bath, UK. Her research and practice lie at the intersection of organizational studies, philosophy and communication. She explores how leaders and managers shape and transform organizational life, identities and action in living conversations. She is particularly interested in the relationship between language and collaborative, responsive, and ethical ways of managing and transforming organizations.
She will participate in the Main Plenary: Creating Dialogic Sensemaking Through Anticipational Fluidity I Friday June 28th, 9:15 - 10:00. "How do we work with differences in our unfolding relational encounters with each other? This is an issue we all face in our professional and personal lives. I will explore this question through the lens of dialogic sensemaking and offer ‘sensitizing resources’ as ways of generating possibilities for moving on".
