Reflecting processes was an important discovery for me. I fully love the human openess and acceptance that I met in this programme

Igor, 2013

Angela, 2016

By knowing the collaborative and dialogic practices, I was able to name something I already did and believed to make sense in my relations with my clients, especially with children who received some pathological diagnosis.

ICCP Norden - Dialogiske praksiser.jpg

NORWAY Dialogiske praksiser

I samarbeid med ICCP – The International Certificate in Collaborative-Dialogic Practices - Houston Galveston Institute og the Taos Institute arrangerer Anne Hedvig Vedeler kurs Samarbeidsorientert-dialogisk praksis.

Nytt kurs starter opp i oktober 2020. Nytt kurs starter opp i august 2021. Meld din interesse nå - til.

PERU

Now I See A Person Institute is a non-profit graduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical institution using Collaborative-Dialogical Practices, horses and a nurturing and normal environment for clients to heal from trauma and resultant challenges. Horses nor a natural environment is needed to immerse in our courses. We especially have success (evidence-based qualitative research) with those clients who unfortunately have lengthy histories of trauma, and extensive past experiences with hospitalizations, years of therapy, years of residential care or rehabilitation and medications which did not aid.  Our clients see themselves as a person and not a diagnosis that may have labeled or limited them in the past. Our team of therapists, horses, and ranch environment provide a community of support while symptoms dissipate and new self-perceptions evolve, and family member relationships are rebuilt through dialogical process of self-solutions, co-creating possibilities, and the re-generation of hope. Our philosophy of Community Engagement: A Collaborative Recovery Model (CEACRM) embraces social justice through philosophical positioning of process ethics within communities involved in a person’s life circumstances (Probation Officers, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and other often mandated support systems of the Legal and Judicial, Department of Mental Health, Local Schools and Hospitals). By working with the client’s community, we find phenomenal change (family reunification, transforming from labels to “Extraordinarily Normal”, and eventual cessation of need for therapeutic services in the future) in our continuous evidence-based research.

Our course catalogue for our 120 plus hour ICCP learning program and faculty can be found on www.nowiseeaperson.com. This catalogue serves as an example of available themes but we see our ICCP as a living educational environment as our clinical work is. Potential learners can design their own programs with the collaboration of faculty and obtain desired supervision and CA CEU’s. New themes added are based upon learner needs and/or our world agendas. Courses are offered online and in person via zoom and/or on the ranch. We offer opportunities to be involved in our passions of research, being immersed and sharing our work. Our mission is to help clinicians become aware of options and alternatives where people can be people without labels, transcend difficulties and symptoms, where all therapy is relational, and every client can become “Extraordinarily Normal”.
